Just had servicing...

I was near 20,000 kms and decided to get an oil change and new wiper blades before a 1,000 km road trip.

I pay for oil changes every 5,000 km, that is, the ones not covered in the servicing manual.

This time around, the tech said he gave me one free as per warranty! Cool.

I got in my car and realized that they had reset my engine servicing lights although the warning never came on. Plus, they didn't stamp my book.

Advice? Guess I should just get the stamp and get on with my life, no?

The dealer is supposed to reset the engine service light when it is serviced. As far as the book goes, many dealers don't stamp the thing. You could go back and get it stamped in case you need to fight for warrantee work later on, but its not a big deal if you file away the service summary printout they give you when you pickup the car. This will prove in great detail what work you've had done on our beast. Just my $0.02
