Re: Gunmetal grey kidneys

Looks quality - i'd prefer that to jet back kidneys. Its a little more subtle - yet it still looks mean.

Re: Gunmetal grey kidneys

How did you paint them? It looks like they have a chrome finish (albeit a gunmetal chrome) - is that right?

Re: Gunmetal grey kidneys

They are just well painted, so look metallic, a high metallic paint. Black looked a bit too close too carbon, chrome too bright

Re: Gunmetal grey kidneys

Looks great!

I bought black kidney grills from Beastpower and am planning to have them painted Anthracite (the color of my M5). Actually just the outside of the grills, I'm thinking to leave the vertical pieces inside all black.

Re: Gunmetal grey kidneys

Very cool (or I guess I should be more modern and say "sick"). Looks like a good match for the shadow chrome wheels.

Paul
Paul, Would be interested to see how they come out, one thing worth cnsidering is the problem I had wit the black kidneys on a CB car. From a distance with no sun it looked like I had no grill at all !!!

I will take some more piccies with the wheels and lighter rim (My wheels are te same colour but I am having the rims painted a lighter colour a bit like te old e30M3 rims on Sport EVO's

Here's a thread on the wheels when fist painted

Grey Alloys
