Hi all, I'm looking to find out the pin positions of the wires going into plug 'C' on the BM54 tuner.
I have sorted all the other wires and pin positions after the connection burnt out. I have a new radio.
There are 6 wires that I have going to that plug, the wires are in pairs twisted together.
They are; blue/brown stripe twisted with blue/black stripe.
Yellow /red stripe twisted with yellow /brown stripe.
Yellow /black stripe twisted with yellow/brown stripe.
My beast has dsp and individual audio.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
All done and dusted. Stereo back to normal.
Out of curiosity i tried to access the wds site but after entering radio in the search box nothing came up.
The search can be a challenge. You need the tech word. How I found that one was clicking the + sign on the left. MY guess is you saw nothing on the left. The left turns blue after the java logo starts/finishes. You likely need to add an exemption to your Java. They have cranked the security so high on Java simple sites have a hard time working. Depending on your browser open the java console or easier open it from the start menu. Start menu then all programs then Java then Configure Java and this will pop up. I have clicked the correct tab at the top. Yours will be likely blank in the box so "edit site" list then add the main page for that site, it is the third line in my box, last click apply.
Even though you do that manually every time you go to the site you will get and idiot box asking you if you want java to run click run and you will be good to go. Depending on Java it can take sometime to load so type in the search only after the load is complete.
The pinouts for both radios are also listed in my blog for anyone who needs them in the future.
Doug
