Upgrading 03 NAV DVD with V.2004-02

I've been watching Ebay for the NAVTECH 2004-02 North America NAV DVD to replace my 2001-01 DVD that came with my beast. Dealer cost is $225.00 with no CCA discount due to low profit margin. Ebay has them from $110-175 plus shipping. Does anyone who owns an 03 beast with the NAV DVD have any experience with the newer 2004-02 version?

I upgraded my 00 with a Nav DVD unit just recently. It came with the same DVD you mentioned and it works great. Just eject the old DVD and put in the new one, simple.

Good luck

Robert,

I found a DVD for less than $115.00. I tried to use it today but my nav won't read it. The BMW part number is 99 00 0 390 203 and the NavTech number is S0001-0075-401. Is this the right NavDVD for an M5? Are you selling the same item with the same numbers?

I would be wary of anything advertised for less than the NavTeq price of $200. Most likely they are all illegal copies...but you might something legit out there but not worth it IMO.

Also the software updates are basically free so don't for them.
