BMW NA dutifully reports detailed sales data for the U.S. only. According to their various press releases, thru 1/31/01 3,789 E39 M5's have been sold since deliveries began in October 1999. Assuming there are 150 US cars on this board that's about 4%.

That number will only increase as more owners find out about this "terrific" site.

As far as colors and worldwide distribution goes, all I can say is: "NA" (not available).

But I'm sure some BMW insiders have access to all that information.

I am curious as to the actual percentage of all M5's we represent on this board.....
Just wondering......
Also while I am thinking of it... Anyone know the total number of each color shipped???

Blue Max, thanks for your data; always appreciated. If you really want to make corrections, please credit my car (120) to Missouri, not Kansas. The largest Kansas City is in Missouri, as you probably know. Kansas is not worthy!
