How dark is dark!? Carbon Black is a actually a very dark blue, otherwise it's likely Avus or LeMans unless it's an individual colour. The original colour (in German) is on the body plate in the engine bay by the right (looking from the front) suspension mount.
i couldnt find where the plate was, it probably didnt help that it was snowing/freezing rain and car was outside, here is a pic that will give you an idea, and thanks alot for your help!

Just purchased Avus 2000, 53k mi., Dinan Stage 1 Engine Software, Black/Silverstone interior for $22,500 US. I was relatively perturbed when the money left my bank account; but all such feelings were immediately reversed when I depressed the sport button and drove it home. Half a tank of premium later, I'm elated. When I'm not in it, I find myself staring at it like a perfect ten in a bar. I slept with the keys in my hand for the last three nights. No joke.
