Re: Survey-how many Beasts on the Board?

#1241!

Anthracite, 02/00 build date. (Incognito..eyes slip off it and miss it. Just what I was looking for. Nondescript.)
Just got it today, not more than 8 hours ago!

Owner for 0 days, and counting.

Should I go drive the car, sleep on it, or...drive the car to a hotel and sleep with it/in it?

Just curious as to how much you paid. Did you buy it from the dealer as a certified preowned car?

I picked mine up from the Habberstad BMW in NY two weeks ago as a BMW Certified Preowned car, and as a result I paid a significant amount more for it than the results that I was picking up from eBay and from Dupont Registry. It is a 2002 Carbon Black car that was a lease return and it was in absolutely mint condition. It went through the BMW check and has a two year extended warrantee (plus they give me a BMW loaner during service, which is not the case if you bought the car elsewhere).

All together, the car came out to $56,000 with NYS taxes, etc. with 32,000 miles and I was finding cars with 50,000 miles for around 45,000 miles online from non-BMW dealers and no warrantee, so I wasn't unhappy with the price.

Just curiousity. Enjoy your car!
