About you racing the Diablo, dont worry, go for it. do it offline and 2nd gear 60+. Even if he gets you, it wont be by much. A friend in AL-Ain has his M5 modded more than yours, with cams and head work, he destroyed a diablo Targa 5 times in a row. His car probably has 30 HP over yours. Race it if you feel your car is running well and tell us what happens. By the way, can you see how long it takes you to get from 60-200 KPH? Start before and once you get to 60 start the timer. You'll be surprised what a good running M5 with your mods can do, just dont try to out run the Lambo once you go over 240.

Sometimes I wonder how good are most M5s run. In my case the car is sure tempremetal. From Very quick to just making noise. That video where Ahmad beat the Hamann equipt M5, made me think again. The hamann car stayed in gears a bit too long for what it had, he should have definitly done the business if it was producing the power its suppose to have. I have requested many times for people out there to do a 60-200 test, that takes away much of the wheel spin factor and would be a good indicator how well they are running. To show how strange M5s are, mine has a best of 11.7 and a worst of just under 15. A lot of seconds lost. Sometimes, 300 KPH with 3 adult men, me at 280 LBS and the other around the 175, was reached effortlessly, and then when I am alone on a cool night, the car struggles to get past 280. Abdullah, can you do a run in your lambo and post how many seconds? I hope others can do the same.

Well i used to have a video that God knows where it dissappeared but what i can tell you that it took it 34 seconds to get it from rolling to top speed (inidicated 360+ km/h)
And the funny thing is recontly i had the speedo stuck with the mileage counter only working. But now my top speeds runs are only 330 km/h (the factory claimed top speed)

Well, if that is the case then he better not run against. 34s is pretty quick for any car to get to indicated top speed of 360, even if there was a 10% error, that is still pretty fast.
The temperatures are rising quickly, and the days where the M5 would breeeeeeath the cold fresh air in the night are gone!
Anyways, new BFgoodrichs's are going on soon, IATS removed by the dealer cause it was causing MAF and idle faults in my car. So lets see how the beast performs on spring nights!!!!
