Mirrors vibration at 260kmh ? Normal or not ?

Today while I was driving on our autobahn cca 260 kmh I noticed that both my side mirrors are vibrating a little , is this normal or not ?
I know that's heel of a speed and plenty of airforce .
Does anybody else noticed this ?

cheers

Re: Mirrors vibration at 260kmh ? Normal or not ?

I would say they shoud not shake. All cars Ive been driving in over 260 km/h have behaved perfectly normal except for higher sound and a bit side forces (as well as horisontal foces, cover udner negine on my M3 flew off at 230+ km/h)

Yes, at around 120MPH, my driver side mirror vibrates a little.

Re: Mirrors vibration at 260kmh ? Normal or not ?

I don't have much vibration at all but once in a while I get a high pitched whine from somewhere in the dashboard as I am accelerating past 220kph , it shuts up if I slow down.. Does it only when I drive on a particular stretch of road that tends to get windy..
