What's the WIDEST inch size I can go with for rims.....

Hi Guys,
Im exploring the possibility of getting HRE rims (style 547R, 19 inch) for the beast. I have two questions, and hopefully someones might be able to give me the answers I need.
Just how wide can I go with these rims? Front and rear width please.
Would these rims work with a big brake kit such as the Dinan/Brembo or the Stop Tech BBK???
Thank you very much for your answers.
Robert

Re: What's the WIDEST inch size I can go with for rims.....

The tire manufacturer has specifications for minimum/maximum rim width for the various tire sizes. So it depends upon whose tire you are using and the size of the tire.

Beware that wider tires will increase rolling resistance, fuel costs, wind resistance, and noise, while redicing ride quality. Those are high costs for a street-driven car. Now if it's a dedicated track car, well then...

Robert,

glad to see you getting new rims, I was unsure of what you were thinking after your last post.

I think the widest normally i have seen is about 10.5 with 285's on them in the rear

Re: What's the WIDEST inch size I can go with for rims.....

Not sure if you are talking about wildest width or height. If its height, then 20's would be the answer and if it is width... Then 12's that Hamann has got for their wide body for the M5. Think it was 275's up front and 335 at the rear

Here is theirm program if you can open it cuz i couldnt.
