I dont think there is a cost to participate, you just get a discount 5% off parts and 10% off servicing costs, when your car is 4 or more years old. Its to try and win business back on older cars where people will think about going to independant specialists!. Its still cheaper (a lot) to go to specialists!!

Re: Four Plus program (UK)

My advise, if its standard mechanical stuff ie brakes, clutches etc -get it done from a reputable specialist...

If its M specific - then consider the dealers... even then, shop around for the cheapest... geography makes a big difference in costs!!!

Was!

Re: Four Plus program (UK)

Maybe we should start a sticky on dealer charges for the typical service types: Oil Service; Insp I & Insp II?

Especially in the South-East of England, I wouldn't mind going a few miles more to get a cheaper service package.

I managed to get an inspection 2 on the M5 for £370 fully inc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guy messed up when quoting me the price and emailed me the incorrect quote, the dealership to its credit honoured the original quote!.
