Exhaust tips

I just took delivery of an 03 LMB car. it's great except for the tips on the SS exhaust, which are the BMP RS tips- not my style at all!! While getting my winter tires/wheels installed today, my tire guy told me that a good muffler shop would be able to cut off the BMP tips and weld new ones on. Two questions- any concerns on doing this swap, and any recommendations on replacement tips and where I could look for some? With the depth of knowledge on this board, I'm sure somebody can help me make an informed decision. Thanx in advance!!

Re: Exhaust tips

Remus sells a TON of tip styles for universal exhausts.

Re: Exhaust tips

I am sure a quality muffler shop could do the job. The real issue is making sure the new tips are stainless and are welded. Make sure the welds don't rust either.
