3rd PS2 flat tire. Please help?

Hello all. I'm using the Michilin PS2's on my 01 M5. Today I had the third flat since putting them on last Falll. My problem has been twice it has been on the Freeway and before I can get to the side the tire is already ripping apart. Has anyone else experienced this problem and can you suggest a stronger tire?? Each time I have just picked up a nail which should be a small problem, but before you can do anything about it the tire comes apart. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Ed from Central Ca.

This should not be happening. Do you have a photo of one of the damaged tires?

Cheers, Daniel.

Re: 3rd PS2 flat tire. Please help?

Thanks for the post Daniel. I'll try to get a picture posted soon. It seems what is happening is the tire deflates due to a nail but by the time it gets flat enough for me to feel or hear it, the inside of the tire comes off the rim and tears apart on the inside where the wheel fits. There wasn't thirty seconds from the time I felt it until I stopped. Just nothing else I could have done. Any suggestions are appreciated. I'll try to post photos later today or in the morning.

Are the tires sized correctly for the wheels you are using?

Cheers, Daniel.

is your tire pressure monitoring system working? It should give you plenty of notice unless you have a huge hole in the tire.

Re: 3rd PS2 flat tire. Please help?

Yes the tires are correct for the wheels. I bought them from the Tire Rack. I do not recall the tire monitoring system coming on. I just heard the tire and started pulling over. Perhaps the monitoring system is not working and had it been I would have caught it in time. I took pictures of the tire and wheel. Could someone tell me how to attach. I can't seems to figure it out quickly? Thanks.
