Tried downloading from the MEGA links today. I got to about 16% then got a message that I had exceeded the BW quota but could sign up for a membership. What's up with that? Does anyone have a link that I can download free from and that doesn't try to extort money from you?

Well, this is a shame. It looks like the only way you can get this data is if you subscribe (pay for) the MEGA account. It lets you down load about 16% then stops with an exceeded bandwidth notice but says you can continue the download in something like 6 hours. Let PC sit, it starts again in about 6 hours. Exceeds bandwidth (now at about 32%). Same message, let sit, downloads about another 16% (now roughly 48%). Let sit, the get a message that the download cannot complete. What a mess..

Do these files this exist anywhere else on line? I am not going to pay for a storage account that I don't need.

Use firefox, chrome tries to save it to browser cache and bombs because the file is 50GB. Use firefox and the addon that it prompts you to download.

Alright, so I downloaded and installed the exe, added the that file to the two folder location, deleted the shortcut and then added a new one and restarted the computer. However, BMW coding tools isn't working. Any suggestions?

Also, are there any other steps I need to do to get NCSxpert and INPA working?

So; having recently gotten into this - I found the following VM image with everything you need on it already setup and ready to go. Just go download Oracle VirtualBox (free) and run this image (it's an OVA file). You'll need to install both VirtualBox itself and the "Extension Pack" for USB support.

Works like a champ - and because VirtualBox works on pretty much any platform you're golden.

The only thing you have to do is tweak the COM port settings a bit if your USB-Serial adapter doesn't land on COM1. If anyone needs help PM me.

Discussion thread ([VirtualBox] INPA, NCS Expert, WinKFP and much more v.1.3):

I have installed it and it works. However, I might have incorrect cable because some features aren't working. the only part that works is partially INPA. Which cable are you guys exactly using for our cars?

THank you.
