Ahhhh that's it. I had to reboot after pasting it in both folders, then I was able to register it successfully. Everything loads now! All that's left is to source the Expert Profile for NCS.

Also BMW coding tool will update your SP-Daten too.

Make sure you link all the proper folders in BMW Coding Tool (to Ediabas, NCS Expert etc.)

Glad to hear it's all well. I am still ecstatic that i got it working on windows 10

Already done Downloading V57 as we speak.

Same here! I've had a fully functioning toolset including E series and F series programs on my MacBook Probfor about two years now. However, that was obviously on a VM and took up so much space on my daily used laptop. I picked up a small Acer laptop with Windows 10 and honestly debated returning it due to the non-compatability issues until today. So glad I saw your thread. Now I finally have a dedicated diagnostics/coding computer and I can remove all the crap from the Mac

PS. The installer in your link doesn't contain sufficient Profiles for NCS Expert for master editing. I'd recommended replacing them with Revtor or Expertmodus. I've uploaded them below:
https://mega.nz/#fm/JtI3gRaI

Simply paste these PFL files into NCS Expert\PFL\

Is DIS included in this package?
I am using ISTA-D/P for my bike, but for old car like E39 I was told DIS will make so much more sense

DIS would make sense to utilize, but it would never work under a 64bit windows 10 environment. The only times i've seen DIS is on dedicated laptops, very very old laptops.

ISTA-D/P is supposed to be just as useful as DIS, maybe others can chime in.

OP Updated with NCSExpert profiles.

I have the pacman style connector under the hood of my e39 m5. From what I've read so far, it seems I can only connect INPA through the 20 pin connector.

Will this set up work with these installation files?

20 pin -> 16 pin adapter -> K-Line -> USB
