M5 emblem on front grill ??

Do you guy's think it's overkill to put M5 emblem from the older series on our new M5 front grill.
I don't remember but another board member said he saw someone with it.

If you must do it, put it on "backwards" (mirror image), so the cars in front of you will know the beast when they look in their rear-view mirror. (Just how ambulances write "AMBULANCE" on the front.)

KGK,

I really am not seriously considering it. I just wanted board opinion. Thanks, for your post.

I counted "M" emblems on my car once - I think the number was 18 or more. Isn't that enough?

Fury....I am partial to semi stealth mode....my beast doesn't have the rear deck lid badge or the side moldings markings....simply my preference!

It's a bit Audi to do that, they put the S3, S4 & S8 model badges on the front grill over here, I prefer to let them see the one on the back as I smoke em

I've seen a guy with a 7-series here in Munich a couple of times. He has a M emblem instead of the big round BMW emblems at the hood and trunk. Looks ok, but it still like the original look better!

I think it looks good -I thought I was the only one thinking about this! You can buy these for around $25 - I wonder which part number this one is? Anybody got an idea?
