One choice is difficult. I enjoy BMWs, however, their are a lot of other interesting autos out there to just be stuck with the Roundel as my only mag. My choice would be "Top Gear". I enjoy reading about the vehicles that are not available in the states as well as the european point of view on different autos and F1. The are a lot of cars that are not available in the states between Japan and Europe especially in the high performance area. They also cover the American performance arena OK. I know you said one however we need to know about our competition. My American mag choice would be Motortrend. I enjoyed their recent article on the M5, CLK55, Vette, and Jag. Their articles are well written and their performance stats are excellent.

Simple: Automobile magazine.
They were the first ones to report on drive of the new E46 M3 ( Oct or Nov '00 issue) one to two months before anyone else had a feature on the car

Since only I name is requested is had to be the German "Sport Auto".

Reasons ??

1. The only mag that test the car acording to my priorities,
- aceleration
- topspeed
- braking
- laptime Hockenheim ring
- laptime Nurdburgring
- Slalom

2. Aim at sportive cars and not only the politicaly correct ones.

3. They got pro driver that is capable of testing the cars potential. The editor actually got the laprecord on the "Ring"

4. Its fun to see how many top level sportcar that really fail to deliver when put to the test.

Second choiche would be German "Auto Motor & Sport".
This is probably the best auto mag ever but I still enjoy Sport Auto better.
