Interested to find out where you placed the order. Did they tell you its a 2year wait? My father is looking for one as well but here in CA they tell him 2 year waiting list.

they told me allocation for 2003, don't know it's early 2003 or late 2003. It's about 1.5 to 2 years.

I pulled up behind a Vanquish on a freeway exit last month. It was a right-hand drive and the dash was piled high with test equipment. This is Detroit so you see test mules just about everyday, but rarely something as exoctic as a Vanquish. It is a nice evolution of style. Oddly enough, I had driven my father-in-laws'DB7 Vantage the prior week. It is a nice car, but IMHO not worth $175K. The acceleration was not as rewarding as the M5 and the steering seemed to vary at different speeds. Hopefully Ford (under the careful leadership of former BMW great, Bernard Reitzle) will tweak the Vanquish and make it a true super car. Keep us updated on your order.

Your delivery time sounds about the same as mine. Supposedly the car will be putting out close to 525bhp (unreleased by A-M officially tho). I can't wait!
