There was recently a 6000K fog light post (nice images- only images) for which I became interested. A URL linked to specs on said product would lessen the associated overhead (multiple emails/posts) & likely gain a sale.

There are reasons for why there aren't definitive threads of information on this. We can't go into all the details on this publically, hence why we mentioned that we would rather you just gave us a call 
Not that you have to, but we can explain things better verbally.
On other products we follow your general guidelines and are always improving the site
