Hello all

I've been a member for couple years as I also own a 99 540i and have been reading and keeping up with a lot of issues. I Recently had a 2000 Silverstone on silverstone delivered to me from LA.
Was purchased from a board member who owner car for 2 years and put about 1000 miles on it

170k
KW V1 coil overs, carbon fiber intakes, gunmetal VMR 19x9.5" CSL style rims. Muffler and resonator delete.
Has full leather dash. Fold down seat, 10k on clutch, cps, mafs, cps, intake gaskets, coil packs, and battery.

Needs abs module, front lower control arm, front bumper, fix aftermarket stereo issues, few trim pieces and a small tear/unstitch in the drivers seat. Also needs a thorough cleaning, this poor car.

Just changed oil to liqui moly 10w-60, synchromax, and RP max gear, along with new oil temp sensor. Car is pretty solid and drives great. Loves the high RPM but is just.so.freaking.loud!!

Also, car does not have the SAP run upon starting. There is no CEL and no stored codes when I scan with INPA. Is there a way to detect what brand of software or what is loaded on my car?

It's actually pretty rare...MY 2000 was the only year you could have a leather dash and the sport interior. You could continue to spec Bruyere wood with the sport interior after MY 2000, but most did not.

I've always liked this color, those wheels look really nice on it too!
