i urge all the bay area m5 owners to join this ride. I just got this email from the baybimmerz.com guys:

Hi guys,this is what I sent out, sorry it's such short notice, but I just found your email addy's.
Hope you can make it, it's for all models of BMW's.

It's been awhile since we've all seen one another and been on a drive, sooooo let's do this.

Here's the info:


NorCAL BMW Meet / Drive / Eat
Day: October 9th, Saturday, 2004
Time: Meet by 7:30am, depart by 8am
Meet spot: Home Depot Parking lot in San Mateo (directions below)
drive: Skyline / Rt9 / Rt 236 out to Rt 1 (ocean)
Picture Opportunies: YES YES YES
Dining/Lunch: To Be Determined

Directions to Home Depot / Meeting Spot:

Home Depot / from 101 North or South
Take US-101 SOUTH or North
Take the CA-92 East exit towards HAYWARD - go 0.8 mi
Take the MARINERS ISLAND BLVD/EDGEWATER BLVD exit - go 0.3 mi
Turn on MARINERS ISLAND BLVD - go 0.4 mi (go over the freeway)
Turn on FASHION ISLAND BLVD - go 0.2 mi
Continue on BRIDGEPOINTE PKY - go 0.3 mi
Turn on CHESS DR - go < 0.1 mi
Arrive at 2001 CHESS DR, SAN MATEO
Home Depot will be on your left
There is a Starbucks across the street in the Mall.

Home Depot / From the East Bay
Take Hwy-92 WEST (San Mateo Bridge)- go 11.9 mi
Take the E HILLSDALE BLVD/FOSTER CITY BLVD exit - go 0.2 mi
Turn on CHESS DR - go 0.4 mi
Arrive at 2001 CHESS DR, SAN MATEO
Home Depot will be on your right
There is a Starbucks across the street in the Mall.

Keith (Bay Bimmerz) and Ben will see you there.



I/Keith will also have a caravan starting at Nordstrom's (Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton)at 6:50 am, leaving @ 7:00 am for San Mateo.

8am is a good time. Anything later and you'll get to force-mingle with motorcyles seemingly from ALL the biker clubs of SF bay area on Skyline Blvd and Hwy 9!

Sorry I can't make it this time, but enjoy!
