CPS Error code, worse after changing CPS

I had an intermittent fault for CPS exhaust bank 2 and then another code for bank 2 exhaust cam to crank synchronisation, can't remember the exact codes but you get the picture.

Changed the corresponding cam sensor and now the fault is just permanent, constantly lit up red as an active fault on PA soft.

Unless I've had a duff CPS I'm confused.

PA Soft normally creates a pretty helpful log after you've been into the car so you can review it all afterwards. However this time the only things in there are:

DME memory scanning results:
- 000000-00FFFF : 00
- 000000-00FFFF : 02
- 000000-00FFFF : 06
- 800000-80FFFF : 00
- 800000-80FFFF : 02
- 800000-80FFFF : 06

I've been trying to decipher it, but can't seem to find anything. If it is inconclusive then i will log back in later tonight and get a decent screenshot of the codes.

Found the codes from an older log, whilst it was still an intermittent fault:

0B/84 - Signal, camshaft sensor, exhaust, bank 2
A2/88 - Camshaft sensor,bank 2: synchronization to crankshaft
AA/82 - Secondary-air quantity too low

Could be worth noting, these are in the shadow memory:

Shadow-memory:
8F/00 - Electronics-box fan
8F/00 - Electronics-box fan
8F/00 - Electronics-box fan
8F/00 - Electronics-box fan
8F/00 - Electronics-box fan
8F/00 - Electronics-box fan
8F/00 - Electronics-box fan
10/00 - Signal, crankshaft sensor
10/00 - Signal, crankshaft sensor
10/00 - Signal, crankshaft sensor

I'm not understanding, is the last post still indicative of current faults or not?

BTW, your ebox fan shadow code isas stated the fan in the ebox, but your crank code is a red herring thrown out by PA soft and is a code that appears in every copy of it as a shadow code that you cannot clear.

AA is the common SAP issue, and the fact you have 0B and A2 together is usually a good indicator that it is the sensor and not a noid or similar issue.

However as said I can't tell from your replies if they are the current faults or not???

One side only? Swap sides, quick way to check for bad replacement CPS. Also, make sure the connector is seated properly and/or wiring not frayed or loose.

I understand that, I'm talking about what faults remain now in the memory, as it looks as if you are saying none are in the memory, but then have posted up you have seen codes A2 and 0B but it isn't clear on whether you see these now also or they are old codes you once saw
