Temecula Drive on May 27th
Does anyone know the best spot to meet for this event?
We need to try the back road going there so that we will have so much fun.
Please let me know, we need to make the decision soon.
Thanks guys......

Maybe we should meet at I5 and Ortega Highway.
There is a small office complex on the SE side of I5 and Ortega Highway.
To get there:
Exit I5 and go east to the first street and turn right. Go approximately 500 feet to the first street and right turn again. Drive straight into the center of the office complex at the end of this street. Buildings are Spanish Style. There is a large parking area in the center of the complex that will work as a meeting point.

I'm in. The Ortega Highway meeting place sounds good to me, maybe at 10:00 am.

Isn't it better to meet right along the 15 freeway?
I just thought that we're gonna take the back road and have some fun. Freeway drive is too boring, besides, we do that everyday.

If you have a better plan, please share it with us, since time is running short.

Adrian / Francois,
You can count me in! As far as a meeting
place, some place close to the freeway in
Temecula sounds good. Also, trying to get
my brother inlaw to join us (E36 M3 Sedan).
Lets drive !!!

Adrian,
Wish I could make it but not this time. I'm off to pick up the new Imola Beast! I look forward to getting together when I get back.
We need to get some cars together and do the front brake ducts like greg from N.CA. has done. We could make a day thing for a bunch of us.
Let me know.

I'm confused?
Did you wan't to start the drive in Temecula or San Juan Capistrano?
The place I suggested is directly adjacent to the I5 at Ortega Highway. We can drive East from there and be in Temecula in less than one hour. If we leave much past 8am there is likely to be heavy traffic.
Maybe some of us can meet in Temecula and some in San Juan and we can meet at the top.
Just throwing up ideas.
Let me know.

I was thinking that for those who live in San Diego County (Irvine area can go either way) area should meet at the North County Fair Mall Parking lot by the 15 freeway (The exit is "Via Rancho Parkway"). The ones who live in Los Angeles and Orange County area should have another agreeable meeting spot. After that we could figure out where to join everyone together.
On average Sundays, 15 FWY should be empty and good for a drive. We should have someone who knows the back road to get to Temecula. Unfortunately, I have no idea which way to take.
We can plan on meeting there at 9:30 AM and leave at 10:00 AM. We should get there by lunch time.
What do you guys think?
Please remember, if you own those Motorola 2-way radios, bring them. Those will be very useful for our communication during the drive. I have a couple, anyone else?
