The most fun so far, perhaps.

As a really ancient person I have to say that "now" has always been good for me. I never wasted time looking back or forwards too far.

But being retired and free to choose without the responsibilty to perform and compete to earn a living is for me the best time of my life.
Driving my M5 and riding my Honda CBR1100XX are part of that.

This board is truly the only place where I have met individuals who are in their post-fifty years and know how to enjoy their vehicle and enjoy their life. In person not once have a met someone like this, I only encounter people who say things like "I'm too old to shift gears" or "when I was your age cars were my hobby, now my kids/grandkids are my hobby". It's very sad how the majority of people seem to lose themselves over time... and yes, I have seen strangers who are driving sports cars and are in their older years, but NOT ONCE a single digit over the speed limit, not once approaching redline, not once testing the capabilities of their suspension system. I vow not to become one of these gentlemen and I applaud every member on this board who drives a beast and knows what to do with it!

I can't believe I'm still coming here even after I've sold my M5. I've met many good friends through this board and that's what makes me come back.

All I can can say is that you are only as old as you feel....and it happens faster than yo think!! I just enjoy life. I still complete in some athletic activities/competitions and I appreciate a nice car. I have also know that, no matter who you are or what you have, there is always someone that is bigger, better, faster, or stronger...for what ever it's worth.
