I got my beast when I was 22 and I'm 23 now. I did it by working 3 jobs and no unnecessary spending

P.S. Half price on dimebags to board members! (Just kidding)

As way of explanation: first marriage kept me beyond broke - generally drove cars that sucked, but it was what I could afford. Second marriage is great (have a 14-year-old daughter to prove it!), but took some time to catch up from the first one. Then, drove LS-400s for 10 years: great cars, but something was missing - they just weren't FUN. Talked it over with my wife, and she totally surprised me, with "if you can keep it a luxury 4-door sedan, then go get something you love". Took 16 months to find just the right one, but now I drive around grinning, as we used to say, "like a sh*t salesman with a sample in his mouth!"
I love the way you discribe the M5

4 door luxury Grin Machine

I have had mine for 6 months now, I turned 23 just before picking it up. I owned a rover for the first 2 years of driving but needs must when you're 17.... since then I have had, in this order, Ford Capri 2.8i, E36 328i, E34 M5, E90 325M sport, now THE BMW the E39 M5

I get bored of cars very quickly, but I have a feeling that won't happen with this one.

How Does That Happen???

Ok, I can't resist this, so here is my question: How The F**K does a 22-year-old afford a new E60 M5?

This is not meant to be disrespectful, in any way, but that is a pile of money for one just starting out in life. How does a person manage that?

If-and I am still negotiating-I acquire a Beast, I am 51. I need a sedan to make school bus runs and love E39's.
