G-Power Rear Diffuser vs. AC Schnitzer Rear Diffuser?

Hello board members,

Does anyone have any experience with the G-Power rear diffuser? Is it similar
to the AC Schnitzer product? I love the AC Schnitzer diffuser, but at $1,300 it seems the G-Power diffuser for $400 is a much better buy? Of course, they say "you get what you pay for", so I am just making sure that is true in this case.

Thank you in advance!

Gisho

Re: G-Power Rear Diffuser vs. AC Schnitzer Rear Diffuser?

HEY BLACK BEAST!!!!!!
I just had the AC Schnitzer rear diffuser installed and I gotta tell ya that it is a really nice piece. The fit and quality are exceptional. The design is well thought out enough that you can really imagine it working and making a difference in the aerodynamics of the rear end. The black undertray tucks up neatly and out of the way and gives a good contrast/backdrop for what ever color you chose to paint the wing. The hardware is sturdy enough to have been in Florida for the last couple of weeks . I was surprised when I picked up the wing, it is really hefty, probably to reduce vibration???? Shadowman at http://www.discovery-automotive.com/...richardsm5.htm did the install on my vehicle and I must say that it complements the rear very nicely. The wing was painted Sterling Gray to match the vehicle and it looked great. I've since had it wrapped in carbon fiber and I'm awaiting delivery from Shadowman tomorrow. Here is a pic of the spoiler in Sterling Gray. IMO you can't go wrong with this product.

Re: G-Power Rear Diffuser vs. AC Schnitzer Rear Diffuser?

Hummmm................................
Other than the ACS rear diffuser being a bit more on the curved side, I saw no difference between the two parts, aside from a huge difference in cost. Anyone ???

Re: G-Power Rear Diffuser vs. AC Schnitzer Rear Diffuser?

No comparison here, the AC Schnitzer part is much more intricate and is made of 3 separate pieces including 2 metal struts. Look closely at the photos of the AC Schnitzer diffuser on www.beastpower.com, and you will see what I mean. Here is a mouth-watering photo of my beast with the Tubi and AC Schnitzer diffuser.

Anyone interested in purchasing the AC Schnitzer diffuser (or anything else for their 5-series), and who is an m5board.com member, can get a discount from BeastPower. Our policy is to beat any legitimate price you can find at another vendor.

Cheers, Daniel.

I had no idea, the ACS diffuser was a three piece kit..........

I just took a look at BEASTPOWER's web site, and it look as if he recently added some more detailed/close-up PICs of the ACS diffuser. Here's the link:
http://www.beastpower.com/Merchant2/...GY/acsdiffuser

Can anyone tell me what the heck is the top left side photo? Where would that part go on the car? The top right picture is the actual diffuser BUT what the heck is the last bottom photo for? Where does this go and why do you need it??? Can anyone clarify this please?
TIA.
