Re: Missing pixel's
Bad link.
But if you have dead pixels in your Nav screen, take it to the dealer and the screen will be replaced under warranty. Mine is on order for one dead pixel.

Re: Missing pixel's
I have the same only much worse.. the only thing that displays properly and legibly is the milometer. Apparently BMW say the only way to fix it is with a new cluster at 660 Quid!! So i'm putting up with it for now.
Cheers

Did they not entertain swapping it at all, even without warranty? Im waiting to hear back from BMW GB to see how far I get with trying to get mine changed over. It is such a well known problem, they should still swap them. (I hope!)
Ps there are instructions for a possible fix somewhere, to do with cleaning the ribbon conectors in the cluster. Some people have said this has worked, others only temporarily. May be worth a bash

Re: Missing pixel's
I am looking into using http://www.vdorepair.com/ If they convince me that their repair is fairly permanent then I'll take a chance. Based on what I have read it seems like the clusters all have problems so replacing it with a new one just means the problem will return again.

Re: Missing pixel's
This is a known problem and fixed under warranty as long as it's doing it when your SA can see it.
