We all know that Discovery Automotive makes the coolest supercharger kits on the market, and that they are the undisputed leaders when it comes to supercharging the M5.
The G-POWER supercharger is primarily relevant to our European members, as all the work has to be performed in Germany. I do not know if this supercharger has been installed on any customer's car yet. This is what G-POWER offers:
Conversion of modified 5.0l G-POWER racing engine (to be carried out at G-POWER Germany).
Output: 442kW (600hp).
0.60 bar boost pressure.
Supercharger Kit Includes:
Integrated G-POWER supercharger G21 with noiseless run integrated in series strap-drive.
G-POWER supercharger case made of high-quality carbon.
Optimized air-intake area.
G-POWER special aluminium air-cooler (water-cooled air-cooler with integrated air pipe).
Air intake pipe.
Aluminium air cooler.
Stainless-steel air way pipe.
Special additional control unit (G-TRONIC) ECU adjustment.
G-POWER sport air filter.
G-POWER rear badge.
G-POWER floor mat set with logo (optional in grey or black).
G-POWER sport gear knob in aluminum (fully polished).
Exhaust flow optimizing G-POWER stainless-steel rear silencer for reduction of impact pressure by 30 per cent and torque increase of 15 Nm.
G-POWER clutch.
G-POWER speedometer in black (marked up to 340 km/h).
Technical details:
Output: 442kW (600hp) / 7250 r.p.m.
Max. torque: 700 Nm / 4580 r.p.m.
V-Max: approx. 330 km/h.
0-100 km/h: approx. 4.5 sec.
It would be great to hear from Shadowman regarding the pros and cons of this system, and how it compares to what is offered by Discovery Automotive.
Cheers, Daniel.

God! why are superchargers so expensive on the m5??! I mean you can supercharge (in and out the door) a viper or vette or even a e36 m3 for as much as the assemply cost of a m5 supercharger. I would love for one, but I couldn't see myself giving that many Benjamins away for one!
