Another DSP gremlin - anyone experienced this too?

Here's an odd one that's happened a few times recently. When playing a CD if I press "volume up" on the steering wheel the stupid thing skips forward to the next track!!

I suspect a loose connection in the wheel electrics but it happens so rarely I'm not going to bother with it. Then again it could be another software bug

Anyone else had the same thing happen?

That used to happen on my 98 540 when I'd press "volume down" on the multifunction steering wheel. Never could get the dealer to look into it because it was always "could not replicate".

I have recently seen a TSB (sorry, don't have access to them right now) for, I believe, the X5 with the exact same symptoms explaining that it is a fault in the MFL buttons and the cure is to replace the buttons on the steering wheel.

Yup...and I started wondering if it was me or the car! It has happened about 2 or 3 times in the 2 yrs + 2 months I've had the car....both in the last couple of months.
