Whats your mileage....?

So I am in the market for an M5 and I thought I would see what the mileage is like on the board. The M5's I am looking at are all 2000-2001's and some have a bit higher miles. What sort of mileage should I expect to get out of an M5 engine?
I would assume you are going to get into the 100's but who is up there already? The previous BMW's I have had, 3 series, have gone into the 200's but with the M5 being a higher-performance engine I would assume you are going to get less. Any thoughts on what I might expect out of an engine?

Re: Whats your mileage....?

I've got 53,000 miles on my 2001. I had a cam sensor replaced at about 25,000 miles and have not had any other problems with the engine. Car is running very strong.

Re: Whats your mileage....?

I bought a 2002 CPO with 38K. Not one problem on the 1100 mile trip back to my home or in subsequent miles.
