AP Discs - grooves

I have a secong hand set of discs and 6 pots - does it matter which side the discs are fitted ( can't see any id ) ?
I note from some pics that the outer end of the groove ( ie at the edge of the discs) is further forward than the inner end ( when looking from the side of the car ) ( does this make sense ?) .

Yes. They are handed.

A simple search should reveal which way round they go. I'll have a look.
