george@georgewoodsteam.com Junior Member, warming up (<31 posts) Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: York, PA Garage: 2000 M5 carbon black Sales Feedback: (0) Thanks: 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts	????M5 hard to start and shuts off while driving Checking to see if anyone has had problems with their 2000 M5 having a hard time starting, Nav. screen going blank, radio not having sound but, controls work. I can be driving down the road and the car will just shut off..then I have to try and turn the key several times until it starts? When driving around 4,000 rpm's the car sounds loud? I took the car into the local BMW dealership and they put it on the scan ttest and they are saying it has a problem in the bank 1 vanos but, first they would start with replacing the coil packs then the vanos!!!!! My personal mechanic thinks it's the motherboard behind the left airintake hose!!! Has anyone had anything like this happen to them or know anyone who could possible tell me what the possible problem could be? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,George at george@gwoodshomes.com
