Exclamation SHORT VIDEO - Milltek Exhaust

I have been experimenting with my video camera and took a short clip of the beast revving at standstill, just a few blips on the pedal to 2500rpm,

I know the camera is lying on its side, but if you can hear the sound, let me know and i will post some more videos of the car whilst driving.

the video can be found here (hopefully)
http://www.ssd.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/...ed_0002ssd.wmv

enjoy it!

Re: SHORT VIDEO - Milltek Exhaust

Sounds pretty good. Video and sound come through just fine.

What pipe/exhaust are you using?

Re: SHORT VIDEO - Milltek Exhaust

Awesome.. Just found the install pics. Looks like it went well. I am a little disappointed with the stock exhaust (to say the least) but I only picked up the car last Friday. Will have to go slow on the mods. I am hoping that a cheap stair step approch will work... but then again those tubi's sound great too and they replace everything from the cats back.... any thoughts?

Re: SHORT VIDEO - Milltek Exhaust

Exactly the same set up as mine. It'd be interesting to compare the two cars side by side

After having the Tubis for a couple of weeks, I'd say it's not as loud as the Millteks on cold start and revving.. it gets a little deeper on idle when it is warm, but it's the scream after 3500 RPM that gets you. I'd say the Tubi is more enjoyable for people outside the car because you can't really hear too much in the cabin... it's really subtle. But, people can hear when I pull up to their house or leave. Once it's hot, the Tubi has a nice deep tone and I find myself keeping it a gear too high just to enjoy the sound.

The video clip was great! I really like the sound of the Millteks! Enjoy it!

Re: SHORT VIDEO - Milltek Exhaust

Thanks Anzir,

I send a post to the group buy section. It looked like at one time there was movement to get a few Tubi's by folks. I am hopefull that the offer is still open. If not it looks like I will probably go Dinan for the exhaust and perhaps an x-pipe down the road.

i ageee the tubi's give a higher pitched 'scream' at high revs, that does sound very good.
