Silly question: Which color do you use on your NAV?

Ok, here's the pointless question of the day? Which color scheme do you use on your NAV computer? I myself am partial to "3", which, at least in the US, is the blue/gray one, depending on if the headlights are on or not.

Which brings up another question. I wonder if the color scheme's are consistent across all the countries?

Just curious...

Re: Silly question: Which color do you use on your NAV?

I used the blue/orange one for the longest time but found it to be excessively bight at night. I have now selected the muted brown one.

I go with the blue/gray, seems to match the interior the best.

Re: Silly question: Which color do you use on your NAV?

El_Mono, you have BT in your 2003 M5. I am insanely jealous. My M has a build date of 10/01, and it's four months too old to have the BT capable head unit.

I'm so jealous. Maybe someday they'll retrofit it back to my "old" car. Either that, or I'll just swap the entire system out from a 2003.

Four **** months...

Off the subject, but there is a kit out by the people at www.bmwnav.com to retrofit BT in an earlier e39. i am the "beta tester" for their current kit, it was designed around the e38, but should all work for the e39. I'm awaiting a couple of e39 specific brackets to get it all mounted, then i'll need to get my car coded for the phone. I should have more info by the end of the week. I have no affiliations with bmwnav.com other than being a previous customer (when i updated to the widescreen nav) and this current project.
PM me if you want more info. My car is a 6/00 production 00 M5, by the way.
Mike

Re: Silly question: Which color do you use on your NAV?

I just looked and I only have "2" choices. Blue/orangey and brown/grey. Where is this choice #3 ??
