Misha, what type/brand of silencers did you use on your custom exhaust?
Did you also have the shop custom fab an x-pipe for your car?

I have used this mufflers: but not painted black...

http://www.mg-race.ru/dumpers/?i_con=126

Inside diameter is 57mm...one enter 2 exits....Mufflers size a bit smaller then TUBI's...Been told the smaller the mufflers the louder the sound...

Ichibahn 90mm round tips, like SS ones...

http://www.m5board.com/photopost/sho...cat=500&page=1

Had my Cats removed and muflers put instead...

And yes, exhausts shop made an X-pipe for me, its quite easy to do it...everything took 2 days to fit and finish...

I it...

Still waiting for Eisenmann's sound clip...So I'll post mine as well...to compare it...

Re: EISENMANN RACE/SS XPIPE FITTED!!

Sounds truly awesome...
By any chance does anyone have a Dinan Header,Xpipe, and Dinan Muffler combo they can speak to. I am seriously considering that move or Tubi's from the cats back.

Re: EISENMANN RACE/SS XPIPE FITTED!!

They're black to start with, and any water that goes in there when washing just beads and rolls off. Some kind of protective coating i guess. My exhausts get quite coked up anyway, as i live so close to work, there's a lot of choke on most of the journey.

If i could stop spending money on the car, i may be able to afford a push bike and ride to work
