Paging "DINANM5"

Nice run on 280 Sunday morning. Your car looks great. It looks like you have a lot of Dinan mods. What kind of engine mods do you have? My car is stock except for the exhaust, susp., and brake mods.

Badbird,

Is this the yellow M5 we heard about a while back but never got the datails on?

We took delivery about a month ago, and the first time my wife drove the car she zipped onto the freeway muttering something about "5,500 rpm limit, where's BADBIRD, and darned CHP (was on the on-ramp)". Had to reel her in a little to preserve the brake-in proceedure!

So what went on with you and DINAN M5? We know your car is fast from your previous posts ......

Take care ....

Hey Badbird,

Yeah, awesome run yesterday. Lots of fun, georgeous day too for an early race. My friend in his VR6 Supercharger was behind us watching the whole thing. He was keeping up too a little behind.

Regarding my mods, yeah its the whole set up but in really does nothing for more HP, its really does more for handling.

As to the details, your car is solid. Once you went you would immediately get about 3/4 to 1 car ahead of me, I would then keep up. Too bad we could keep going till 180 :-)

Anyways I also ran into Moe, Dan, Greg and Ken at the show. Didn't see you, next time.

Have a great one and see you next time when I get my supercharger :-)

Fred
