Yes, it worths every penny of it. My M5 works perfectly in Manhattan. With the audio and video hookup, you could watch DVD.

Do BMW dealerships carry the TV module or is it sold by a different company?

A word of warning...

I purchased my TV install kit from Pacific BMW on the recommendations in SVTWEB' s install manual. The price of $650 all inclusive was accurate and the kit arrived at my home in NC promptly.

However, imagine my surprise when I noticed the "remanufactured part" sticker on the module, after already having dismantled the back half of my car on a Saturday morning. Having little choice but to finish the install, the module works fine, but it would have been nice of Louie at Pacific BMW to tell me he was selling me a remanufactured part, don'tcha think?

Just a foot note guys.... The only New Video modules that exist are those that come with a new car. Video modules are serviced on an exchange basis. The part number that is given in the documentation is the only module sold in the US that DOESN'T require a core.
