Woah kinda weird Main menu on NAV

hey guys i just got my TV installed and it works nice, but the weirdest thing happened when i was using the NAV.

I was using my navigation system the day after i got my TV installed...
everything seemed normal until my navigation map froze while loading up
the next part of the map...
it was just frozen and i couldn't even exit out to the main menu.
Finally it unfroze..and when i hit route map the 2nd time...it froze up
          again.
So i decided to pull over and restart my engine instead of waiting for it to
          unfreeze.
When i did this, i got a weird looking menu screen...
i believe it was the european version?
the font was different..wish i could've tooken pics of it.
Not only was the fonts different,
i was missing the GPS option from the main menu...weird huh?
I then went to the back to eject my CD Map, and it wouldn't eject...
          it was just stuck...
I restarted my car again..and i still had the european menu version
          with no GPS.
finally i was able to eject the cd...
clean it, and restart my car..and now everything seems to be working fine...
I even got my USA menu again.
it was just weird how it went to the european screen.
Did this ever happen to anyone?
do you think the computer didn't Query the GPS module since i shut the car down?

          -thanks
