          Exhausts Exhausts Exhausts

I have seen the many aftermarket exhausts here on the board and even heard a few through videos and sound clips but I think in real-life one can really et the rumble feel which brings me to my question....Does anyone with an upgraded beast live close to Yorktown, VA? or for that matter in VA? I would love to hear first-hand the sound of the exhausts. The only one I have heard is the Dinan set on a car at Manheim.

Thanks for the help in advance

BTW if you are in VA check out our local site www.bmwva.com

          Yo,

I am in Richmond. You appear to be my closest M5Board neighbor. I have the Supersprint X pipe and Kellener's setup on my Beast and I am absolutely wild about the sound. I would be happy to share it with you. I am located in the far west end of Richmond about 3 miles off of 295.

          Let me know your availability.

          Re: Exhausts Exhausts Exhausts

I have an '03 which is stock except for a Kellener's Sport exhaust. If you are ever up near Rockville, MD I'd be happy to give you a demo.

You may want to consider coming to TechFest East which is in Reston this weekend. (I think it might be going on today already). I will be there tomorrow. I bet you'd be able to hear several different varieties there at one time.

Nice website design. I'm trying to start something similar here in Maryland.

Thanks for the replies guys, I missed TechFest I was working. I thought it was this weekend?

Fever... I will shoot you a pm and meet up sometime soon. I would love to hear the Kelleners with the x-pipe. That is the setup I was actually considering.

          Hi Polshrk, Fever,

Please let me know your individual opinions on the Kelleners + SS X-pipe - as that is the exact setup I am currently considering... A recording would be totally Fantastic!

          regards

          Polshrk,

Send me a message or a mail and I will include my phone number in a response. I would be happy to meet up with you.

Whizzkid, I don't have a video cam or sound recorder. But I can tell you that I am absolutely crazy over the sound. It's so distinct. Some say it is too aggressive for their tastes or un-befitting the aura of the Beast, but I am just all the time !

Polshrk, If you have a camera, bring it along so we can do some clips.

          Regards,

          Al
