VA emissions inspection

Does anyone know a good place in NoVA to get an emission inspection for an M5?

I've heard that you shouldn't put it on the Dyno that they use now, but I've also heard it's ok. Dealers here are unable to tell me either way. Does anyone know the facts on this one?

Thanks!!!

I don't see any problem with putting the M5 on the emissions dyno. The test only lasts a few minutes and is low stress; I've heard that the braking force in the rollers is very small, something like 20 HP. I've had the test done on my 911 and my Suburban, no problem (and they both passed (and my 911 is a Euro model)). The only cars I can think of that should not do the test are full time all wheel drive cars, as it burns out the center diff, and I believe Virginia has exempted such cars.
