          you can get them from Pacific BMW...
          cost is about $600 each...

          There is a difference between 2000 and 2001 headlights.

          Are you sure that is the price for the 2001 European model headlights for the M5? I believe it's a lot more than that. The last time I enquire, it costs $1,700/pair for the 2001 model (with the Xenon package).

          Fury,
          On the 2001 model, you would need to replace the whole headlight assembly not just the cover since it's all one piece.

          I know, it's a hassle and pricy too.
