Phone module location in 2001

Thanks in advance.

Just sped home when I noticed that UPS had delivered my Stealth1, I have really been looking forward to installing this mod. My main interest was to relocate the mute button to my steering wheel and I do not use the BMW phone, BUT it is installed. Hence my question:

Where is the phone module located in my 2001?

I used the search engine with no luck after I unhooked everything I could find in the trunk (left side). I was able to find and unharness three individual "black boxes" (not including NAV and my CD changer) on e at a time, hoping that doing so would "trick" to Stealth1 into my not having a BMW phone. This effort was not successful.

Suggestions? Thank you for your help, Kevin

Sorry for the WOB, but I found that I needed to resent the S1 after disconnecting the "right black box". As I have my answer, I would normally delete this post, but others may come across the same issue. Full instructions can be found here:

Is there any workaround, or fix coming down the pike to enable phone and V1 mute? I would really like this feature!

Probably best to post this question to:

http://www.jaricdesign.com/forums/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=6

My guess is they are better equipped to answer your question, but so far, REALLY like the S1 and VERY easy to install (under an hour and still in my suit and tie). Guess I was a little excited about getting this in the car . . .
