GruppeM intake and Dinan Air Flow Meter Possible

Hey everyone,

I don't know if anyone on this board has ever tried putting the GruppeM intake with Dinan AFM. My guys at RPMRacing were able to combine the two together with a little bit of tweaking. Here's the pic if anyone is interested.

So it is possible..

I believe that Lupo///M5 was also able to do the same thing too.

What kind of gains are people getting with this setup? Although I have my doubts about a CAI setup on an M5, I would be interested to hear peoples findings.

To me..It's all eye-candy.
My car seem to rev harder, faster, and louder. But that could be just me. I'll find out if all the money I dropped on the car is worth it this coming saturday after the dyno. BTW, I think I'm going to take out my velocity stacks and put back the OEM for the dyno. I'm not optimistic about it...340hp @ the wheel?

Re: GruppeM intake and Dinan Air Flow Meter Possible

If there is any gains at all with a CAI/AFM upgrade, your not going to see it on the dyno. The way intakes etc. gain power is by sucking in air and keeping it colder (horrible explanation) and with a car sitting still it won't be able to do that and wont show any gains.
