check out my ride, curious what you think (pics)

I think I'm done with the modifications for awhile. I've got 11k on this '03 and am just now really enjoying it. Tubi exhaust, UUC III ssk, Fikse 18" wheels, Redline synthetic diff. & tranny fluid. Just like fine wine, it's gettin' better with age.

I'm just not digging the wheels i'm sorry to each their own i guess. But very clean other wise.

Hey Z06,

Nice Beast, refined and Understated.

As Photos do not capture the Refinement and beauty of the Tubi, I'm sure the shots don't do the Wheels justice either.

Re: check out my ride, curious what you think (pics)

It looks like you have put a lot of money and effort into personalizing your M5, for that I applaud you. But, the wheels aren't my style and the Tubi tips look tiny (the pictures don't do them justice, I've seen them in real life), the 80mm look better. It's good to see that you have went with HIGH quality products, Fikse wheels are outstanding, and Tubi is one of the best exhaust choices for the M5.

Just for the hell of it, I have added a list of the way I would have modified an M5 with the money you spent:

-Dinan or Tubi (80mm) exhaust
-Powerchip
-SSK
-Stoneguard
-Dinan suspension (if enough money)

Have a good one,

Travis

Re: check out my ride, curious what you think (pics)

Um...yeah...the wheels. I would have preferred Fikse solid 5-spokers. Since you're showing so much disc, maybe do some cross-drills and (red) brembo calipers? Also, what's with the gap between the tire and the fender...did you get the 4-wheel drive model? (just kidding...mine looks like that too... )

Overall the car looks impecabbly clean!! And silver is a great color for the beast too!
How do you like your UUC??

I love the wheels! I saw those same wheels w/ polished lips and the centres and spokes colored an anthracite-type of grey on an E36 M3. They looked absolutely fantastic.

Nice car but as said before those wheels are a matter of personal preference.

She looks fantastic to me! Those rims for some reason look a little small, even though they are 18''s. I think in person they give a different perspective, and would look quite nice. I say a very good looking, tasteful beast!
