Info and Pics of Michelin PS2's

Pilot® Sport PS2™ Comparison between Goodyear Eagle RS & F1, S03's & PS2

Formula One-inspired.

Drawing inspiration from Formula One tire design, the new
Michelin® Pilot® Sport PS2™ tire represents a quantum
leap in tire design and engineering. The Michelin Pilot
Sport PS2 significantly outperforms not only its
predecessor, but all other Michelin high-performance
summer tires as well, both in wet and dry conditions. An
infusion of the most advanced tire-making technologies and techniques,
from the highly guarded C3M
Technology™ production process to a Formula One-
inspired four-groove tread design, allows the Michelin Pilot
Sport PS2 to stretch the very limits of what an ultra-high
performance tire can achieve. Note: All comparisons are between
Michelin tires within this catagory.

Re: Info and Pics of Michelin PS2's

Excellent tires,
Michelin and Pirelli are far ahead of others.
I have had all brands before and these two are far the best.
cheers

but they don't "look" as cool as the pilot sports! I'll be curious to try them out though....

The P-Zero's look plain odd - what's important is how they perform (and no whitewalls please!!).

Re: Info and Pics of Michelin PS2's

There have been some great reviews of them over on one of the Porsche forums. The P Car guys are saying that they are noticably better than the previous Pilot Sport. Looks like the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 and the Michelin Pilot Sport 2's are the best tires on the market now, if infact the new Pilot Sport is better than it's predecessor. It will be interesting to see which tire members on this site prefer.

Re: Info and Pics of Michelin PS2's

I would love to see some pictures of an E39 M5 with PS2s. I am particularly interested in how the outer tire radius fits with the rear fender.

I think a tenth or 2 could be removed in the quarter mile with these.

Re: Info and Pics of Michelin PS2's

I am currently using PS2 on my Z8. The car is fitted with 285/30/20 at the rear and 245/35/20 at the front. Previously I used pilot sports and I can easily feel the big difference between them. PS2 stick on the road whatever the road conditions are
