What's The Worst Thing You've Ever Hauled In Your M5?--Confess!! Make Me Feel Better

It's almost my third spring with my M5 and time to get supplies for the yard, etc. Since my M5 is my daily driver I have to use it for everything. I've seriously woken up in cold sweat in the middle of the night after dreaming I had riped the headliner or something (I didn't)--I won't tell you what I've carried in my car right now--too embarassing.

But please make me feel better and let me know the most risky things you've put in your car. How did you protect the speakers, seats, headliner or whatever? Or just tell me I'm nuts to treat my M5 like this!

Thanks!

Anita

Funny thread! I hauled dead pheasants last fall. Just left them in the game pouch of my hunting jacket, and carefully layed the jacket in the trunk.

In my old Ford SHO, I shot a deer and carried him home in the trunk. But hey, that was only a FORD

I haul all kinds of stuff... wood, tools, etc. I just make sure it's well covered and not rubbing on any leather or anything. I love the split fold-down seats for this very purpose.

I knew it wouldn't take long for someone to say thier mother-in-law. And it was two people within 3 minutes of eachother!

Anita- It can't be that bad! I think mother-in-law is the worst! So what did you put in your M5?

Hey Bill, what smelt worse, the Tubi or the Pheasants.

Lets see ... in no particular order
  • 4 sweaty golfers
  • a MB owner
  • all the removed parts after the header install
  • 2 nephews fresh from Chuck E Cheese
Come on Anita, come clean.
