HP/Torque increases for Supersprint cans + X-Pipe

Nowhere on Supersprint's site do they list how much more horsepower and torque we can expect from installing the mufflers with the X-pipe. I emailed them and they told me that they ran all their tests on a personal customer's doner car and so they could not publish increase figures.

Does anyone have any ideas? On Beastpower's site it lists the X-pipe alone as +5 HP and +3 LB/FT so with the mufflers...

My guess would be about 10 HP and 10 LB/FT. Anybody have any input?

I'm not in any dire need to know. I was just curious and figured I'd bring it up.

I did dyno pulls on my pre-SS Beast (B&B Tri-Flows and factory stock resonators), and got ~331 BHP and 324 TQ. A year later, same dyno, with SuperSprint x-pipe and exhaust cans, I pulled ~341 BHP and 326 TQ.

Now, I would not be so quick to attribute +10 HP to the exhaust system alone. I think that's entirely too optimistic. FWIW, I expected zero performance gains from the mod, I was going for improved aural feedback alone. In the intervening time between runs, I also performed an Inspection-II with new Bosch Platinum Plus plugs, and filled her with Royal Purple transmission and differential fluids.

My best guess would be maybe +5BHP and +2TQ (since reduced backpressure has an adverse effect on torque). The soundtrack, on the other hand, is vastly superior to the previous setup.

Re: HP/Torque increases for Supersprint cans + X-Pipe

I did pre and post dynos with the SS exhaust & x-pipe, same dyno, same day, and got 8 - 10 HP increase. Sorry, can't remember what the torque figure was. Now with the SS headers and cats and Powerchip software, you can expect another 30HP.
