Just Got PS2s -- Car is Completely Transformed!!!

I finally got my Michelin PS2s (275/35 ZR 18 all around).

Without exaggeration, my car feels as if it's a different car. The steering feel and response have become utterly transformed. The steering/turn-in is now lightening fast. I haven't really yet pushed the tires to report how they feel on the limit.

By comparison, the Pirelli PZero Corsas that you were previously on the car felt dead, lazy, and lethargic in terms of the speed and linearity of the steering response. Maybe these Corsas require a completely different alignment specification in order to work and feel their best?

Anyways, I urge everyone to get the PS2s. As an added bonus, they're extremely quiet!

$258.00 each wholesale. I think retail is $284.00 each. Well worth every penny!

If you get a chance could you post pics of say 10' from the rear about 2' off the ground?

And maybe some a little further?

Re: Just Got PS2s -- Car is Completely Transformed!!!

That's good news, Elliot! And at $258-278, they're cheaper than the original Pilot Sports. How long did it take you to scrub the new treads in? Or are they still essentially brand new, in which case I'd expect even more impressive characteristics as you break them in further.

I had been eyeing up the Goodyear F1 GSDs as the possible replacement for my current PS's. If the PS2s are this good, at least I can stick with an OE manufacturer.

I have mine on too, but due to lots of clutch slippage, I can't really test the tires out!!

Re: Just Got PS2s -- Car is Completely Transformed!!!

My Michelin PS2s are now on. They are the quietest performance tire I've owned by far. They also seem to have great steering response. I've not driven them hard yet or in the rain so I can't report on that. I'll update the post once I have more miles on them.

PS The boys were at the BADA-BING tonight!
