SPARE FRONT 18 x 8.5 WHEEL

Any advice on the best spare front wheel to keep in my trunk for distance travelling? Are the stock M5 hyper wheels a silver finish (it appears that way, but I don't know what gun metal really looks like)? The best one I've seen on the internet comes from thewheelexchange.com. Are the best wheels only steel, or is aluminum the way to go? Please advise.
