Spring Break: CT to Ohio

Well, it is finally spring break here at Boston University! I'm planning to drive my E39 M5 to Ohio with my cousin and a friend to visit another friend who's throwing a 4 day birthday party.

I'm going to be driving from Westport, CT throught New York, New Jersey, PA, and finally Ohio. I realize it would be around 4~5 hour ride (gotta obey the speed limit ) and was wondering if whoever lives in those states, especially PA, knows any good places to stop by for a break. Like a good restaurant or maybe a sightseeing place or something.

Thanks in advance and happy spring break and happy driving to everyone!

I'm not really sure where you can stop to eat, but I'm on exit 39 on the PA Turnpike, old exit 4. We have a restaurant but its about half hour from the turnpike, though I'm guessing you're taking 80 anyways.

Re: Spring Break: CT to Ohio

Will you be taking I-76/I-80 or I-70 into Ohio?

Re: Spring Break: CT to Ohio

I don't know where in Ohio you are going, but be very careful on I-70.
Two tickets (laser) in two weeks. Both at 90.
Please Lidatek, ship the le-30!
There are some nice twisty roads, however.
Thus the question: Where in Ohio?

Your radar detector is somewhat worthless on Ohio highways. All state troopers use laser as thier primary weapon, while the locals almost always use radar. If you don't use a laser jammer, be careful!

Re: Spring Break: CT to Ohio

Thanx for the caution guys. The news that the radar would be worthless is dissapointing to say the least.
